With Aztek’s general focus on engineering, they have decided to remove as much unneeded weight from their parts as possible while keeping the structural integrity and strength required for all trick scooters. A key example of Aztek’s engineering philosophy comes from the Hydra and Siren line scooter decks, some of the lightest decks on the market.
With their engineering, Aztek can also produce large decks in the frame in their Europa deck, coming in at 7 inches wide and 24 inches long. Nevertheless, the Europa deck is still one of the lighter decks on the market for its size, which speaks depths of Aztek’s design philosophy.
Aztek works incredibly hard to offer scooter parts and complete scooters that come in at a highly lightweight while maintaining the strength and durability needed to land tricks.
