Constructed with space-age materials including magnesium alloy, aluminum, and carbon fiber, the Model One E500 is sleek, durable, and strong. It’s also safe, with its high-brightness LED headlight, LED taillight, and horn. The lever-activated dual anti-lock brakes and friction foot brake ensure that you’ll have no problem stopping.

From the maintenance-free rubber tires to the user-replaceable batteries, the Model One E500 is designed to deliver long-lasting reliability alongside its smooth performance. When battery power is low, just plug the scooter into an AC outlet to charge it in four to five hours.

Lightweight and Stable

The Model One E500 is built for optimal strength and stability while remaining lightweight at just 26.5 pounds. TORAY carbon fiber—the same material used in Elon Musk’s Space-X rockets—is sourced from Japan and painstakingly applied by hand, then utilized for the tube. The deck comprises a single piece of machined aluminum topped with silicone for traction, eliminating unsightly joints, grip tape, and bulk.

Powerful Batteries for Long Range

Powered by 25 lithium-ion batteries, the Model One E500 boasts a long riding range of up to 15.5 miles. A custom-designed management system provides high density, low charging times, and multiple safety protections. Made for years of regular daily use, the batteries ensure longevity and reliability. Down the road, you can replace the batteries yourself or ship the scooter to UNAGI to have them swapped.

One-Click Folding Mechanism

Transporting the scooter couldn’t be easier thanks to UNAGI’s breakthrough stainless steel hinge. Just press one button to fold and lock the scooter, then carry it away.

Dual High-Torque Motors

Each wheel is powered by a dedicated 250W motor to give you a total of 500W and 32 newton-meters of torque for climbing hills with up to 15° inclines. The motors are custom built using rare-earth neodymium magnets and paired with a monitoring system to prevent overheating.

Speed Control

The Model One E500 offers three selectable speeds—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. The scooter’s processor governs top speed and acceleration and will remember your speed preferences, so you don’t have to. With a top speed of 17 mph, the Model One E500 can really scoot.

Sleek Command Center

After over 30 prototypes, UNAGI finalized the handlebar design to serve as a lightweight, sleek command center. The magnesium alloy is 33% lighter than aluminum but remains strong. Devoid of visible wires or confusing buttons, the dashboard offers easy control of the throttle, brake, horn, and LED headlight.

Advanced Braking System

The ergonomic lever activates the dual electronic anti-lock brakes for safe and controlled stopping power. In-built variability increases braking action as you push down more on the control. Alternatively, you can use the intuitive friction brake if you prefer a traditional “foot braking” style.

Safe Lighting

Even in low-visibility nighttime conditions, you’ll always see and be seen thanks to the flush-mounted, 47-lumen LED front light and a rear blinking red LED.

Luxurious Paint

The Model One E500’s finish incorporates three separate coats including a laminate and a high-abrasion-resistant paint to handle the wear and tear of the road. Plus, rust will never become a problem.

Custom-Designed Tires

The puncture-proof 7.5″ wheels are made of solid rubber, so they’ll never foil your morning commute. Air pockets spread throughout the circumference of the wheel, acting as a front and rear suspension system that provides shock absorption without compromising balance.

Seamless Kickstand

Rather than relying on third-party hardware, UNAGI designed its own kickstand for the Model One scooter. Sturdy, simple, and essentially invisible when you’re riding, it seamlessly integrates with the deck.
